Is EasyTheraNotes really HIPAA-compliant?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with every practice.
Do you store the audio recordings of my sessions?
No. Session audio is processed by AI and automatically deleted immediately after the SOAP note is generated. Recordings are not kept after the note is generated. Telehealth video is never recorded; call audio is recorded only if you turn on the automatic note and your client consents.
Can I cancel anytime? What happens to my notes?
Yes, you can cancel anytime from your account settings — no phone calls, no retention offers. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of your billing period. Before leaving, you can download your notes as Word documents and export your patient list as CSV.
Can I record or write in Spanish? Will the note be in English?
Yes — you can record audio or type your notes in any language (Spanish, English, mixed). EasyTheraNotes always generates the final SOAP note in professional clinical English, ready to submit to insurance or add to the patient chart.
How does PSR Group work with multiple patients?
Record a single group session and list the participants. EasyTheraNotes generates individual, personalized progress notes for each patient — each focused on that participant's contribution, goals, and behavior during the session. One recording, one click, a note per patient.
Which insurance companies are supported for Prior Auths?
We support Sunshine Health, Carelon, Aetna Better Health, Molina, Humana and others. Prior Auth documents are generated in about 2 minutes with the exact format each payer expects — our users report approval times improving significantly.
Does EasyTelehealth require any downloads?
No downloads, no apps — neither for you nor for your patients. Sessions run directly in the browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge). Patients join with a secure one-click link sent by email. Runs on HIPAA-compliant infrastructure.
Can I send documents to multiple signers with EasySign?
Yes. Upload a PDF, place signature fields visually, add multiple signers, and enable signing order so they sign in sequence. Recipients get notifications by email. You get a full audit trail and a signed PDF when complete.
What happens to my notes after 30 days?
Session notes in the active queue are retained for 30 days. However, when you archive a session into a Patient Profile, the SOAP note is saved permanently in that patient's record — it survives the 30-day TTL. So your archived patient history is always available.
Can I export my Income Tracker data and estimate taxes?
Yes. Income Tracker lets you set custom rates per service, track earnings across institutions, and set monthly income goals. It estimates quarterly taxes (30% by default) and shows the next deadline (Apr 15, Jun 15, Sep 15, Jan 15). Export everything to CSV for your accountant.
How does the free trial work? Can I refer colleagues?

What formats and clinical documents can I create?

Do I need to review AI-generated notes?
Yes. Each result is a draft. Check accuracy, add missing information and apply your clinical judgment before using or exporting it. Diagnosis suggestions also require professional review.
What does the Chrome extension do?
It displays recent notes and today’s appointments, supports note search, copying and editable Word export. It requires an active account. The store listing includes SOAP, TCM, Psychology, PSR Group and H2014 Skills Training notes. You paste into the EHR manually; it does not read or fill other websites.
